Shift This ONE Thing To Connect Even Better With Your Podcast Audience

Shift this ONE thing to connect even better with your podcast audience…

Probably one of the main reasons you started a podcast is to warm up ideal clients and turn them into paying clients.

One of the biggest mistakes you could be making is talking to a group of people instead of talking to one person who needs your help.

Everyone likes to feel like they matter. Talking to your audience like they are a group of people makes each individual feel like they aren’t important. So what do you do? Let's dive into an example below.

Talking to a group could look like this:

“Our listeners want to find new and unique ways to grow their business.”

“People listening to this podcast may be experiencing mindset blocks around money.”

This type of phrasing disconnects you from your listener. Your ideal clients feel like they are one of many.

One way to get around this type of phrasing is to use “you” and “your”.

Using the examples from above, it could look like this:

“I find new and unique ways for you to grow your business.”

“In your business, you may be experiencing mindset blocks around money.”

Talking to your audience as if they are one person helps you connect to each listener.

Your ideal client will feel like you are talking directly to them. Like you are in their brain and you know their thoughts and how they feel. They’ll feel like you know them and like they matter to you!

When your ideal client feels connected to you, you're building the like, know, and trust factors that are essential to them feeling comfortable taking that next step to work with you. As your ideal clients feel comfortable and connected with you, they become your clients and your business will grow.
